About Me:
I grew up in St.John's, Newfoundland, where I began skiing at a very young age. Despite my club there (Avalon Nordic) being pretty small, I still had a lot of fun playing around on skis, and eventually "racing" (I was never particularly motivated to actually ski fast).
Then, at the start of 2013, my family left Newfoundland for Calgary, where I promptly joined Foothills Nordic. Up until I moved, gymnastics had been my main sport, with skiing being more of a fun social activity. However, after getting a taste of what actually applying myself in training felt like, I completely fell in love with this sport. Following this shift in focus, I quit gymnastics. Now, four years later, I have graduated high school, joined a new club, and can't wait to see what this season brings. |
