The Rocky Mountain Racers biathlon program combines a multitude of sports; running, biking, kayaking, climbing, hiking, along with sports specific sessions to help athletes develop their skills and get them ready for racing. With customized training / strength plans, we focus on the individual's needs while also challenging them in a group environment.

The Rocky Mountain Racers coaching staff are committed to creating training opportunities to further athlete development while keeping in mind the guidelines from Alberta Health Services. All programs offered by RMR are planned using Biathlon Canada & Cross Country Canada’s Long Term Athlete Development models as the backbone and then tailored to the individual athlete’s needs. We feel that this is the foundation to the development of successful athletes and we are proud to have contributed to the progress of several athletes who have moved onward to the national and international stage.
